VISIT OF PORTLAND BEACH






The Isle of Portland is one of most beautiful visiting place
Stunning views of round coastline can be enjoyed here
If you like walking or cycling then it is highly recommended place because a lot of scenic places is near to each other.
The South West Coast National Path trail is most famous and is about 13.2 miles long around the Island.
If you visit this place in summer it will be an unforgettable summer because a lot of water sports events held here.
The sky is full of colourful kites and gliders because winds blowing here are most reliable for Wind and Kite surfacing.
Chesil beach and Portland Harbor are favourite for different water games like Angling, Scuba diving to shipwrecks, Snorkeling and Swimming.
The limestone cliffs are used for Rock Climbing.
Some areas are used for Bouldering and deep water Soloing and Sport Climbing with bolt protection is most common here.
This area has a proud to host Olympic and pre Olympic water games from 2005 to 2012

The sea around this Isle land is very beautiful




Best viewpoint is on the top of the hill. There is a monument which is built in memory of those who sacrifice their lives for the motherland in 1st world war from 1914 to 1918 and 2nd world war from 1939 to 1945.

There are so many hotels available in the town but, The Heights Hotel is the best option in this area because due to its location on the top of the hill you can enjoy the scenery of Isle land all around very easily and most of the visiting points are near to it.


Overall this is the most wonderful place to visit and enjoy your time.

Travelling from London           There are so many options.
 like Air, Train, Bus or your own car.

You can travel by train from Euston station, its take 3hrs and 36 mints. By bus, its take almost 5 hrs but it is cheaper than the train. Flights are also available from London.
 On the Isle land local buses are available, but it better you have your own car to enjoy more.
